by the State Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, with overglase blue mark of hammer sickle and cog, dated 1919 and with original Imperial label from the State Factory
Circular, 'Land to the Workers', after Natan Altman's design of 1919, green ground, painted in red, the centre with a factory cradled in a wheat stalk and sickle wreath within a lozenge, the border inscribed with the slogan, marked under base
9½ in. (24 cm.) diam.
