by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, masked mark, with later blue overglaze State Porcelain Factory mark of hammer and sickle
Circular, Red Ribbon with Emblem, the centre painted and gilt with hammer and sickle and a head of wheat, blue, black and green details the border with the Red Ribbon and foliage between puce bands, after the design by Sergei Chekhonin, marked under base
9½ in. (24 cm.) diam.
