A carved realgar glass snuffbottle, late 18th/early 19th Century
of flattened high shouldered tapering form, carved through the bright red and yellow overlay with a crane amongst lotus stems to one side, and carved with bamboo amongst rockwork to the other side - 2½in. (6.4cm.) high, stopper.
