Lot Essay

Gun Crazy remains one of the most iconic 'B' film noirs of all time. Originally released in December 1949 as Deadly Is The Female, it was later re-released under the better-known title Gun Crazy in August, 1950.

The posters for both titles incorporate elements of both exploitation and 'trash'. This style of pulp advertising became extremely popular in the 1950s.
