WITH A TYPED LETTER SIGNED BY STEVENS laid in, to William Cole, the publicity director for Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., 19 January 1955: "I send you an original and one copy of what I have in mind to say at the ceremonies next Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Knopf asked me to send this material to you so that it could be mimeographed for distribution. Sincerely yours, Wallace Stevens." Edelstein A1.a.
