Lot Essay

This work was specially created to accompany number eighty-eight of the de luxe edition of The World of Gilbert & George: The Storyboard published by Enitharmon Press in 2001. The book publishes the complete text of the pair's only feature length film (released in 1981) including 900 or so drawings visualising every scene and shot in the film, of which this is one.
