RUSSIAN, 17TH CENTURY
A female saint, possibly Saint Paraskeva, holds the cross with her right hand and an open scroll with the other. Together with her pearl decorated head-scarf she bears a crown. The silver frame, punched from the reverse, is decorated with flower motifs. - 10 7/8 x 12½in. (27.75 x 31.75cm.)
