Lot Essay

This wand is similar in appearance to a few wands Harry Potter tried out without success in Ollivander's shop in Diagon Alley in the first film. In Ollivander's words The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter and so it was that when Harry tried a wand incorporating a phoenix's feather, he found the one that suited him. According to the accompanying letter, the wand in this lot was possibly used in a Hogwart's classroom sequence in the second film.
