AN ANTIQUE DIAMOND TIARA
The central old-cut diamond flower head with leaf and bud detail to the foliate diamond clusters, mounted in silver and gold, with fittings for a ring, earstuds and six brooches, also a screwdriver, circa 1860, 25.4 cm. inner circumference
Provenance
From the Estate of the late 7th Duke of Newcastle, sold at Christie's King Street, 4th October 1972, lot 153.
Bought by Lord Clark of Kempston and worn by his wife to numerous openings of Parliament. By descent to the present owner.
