The feather-banded case with later skirting to the plinth, convex moulding beneath the breakarch trunk door, the flat-top hood with brass-capped ¾-columns and later quarter frets, the dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with pierced steel hands, matted centre with seconds ring and calendar aperture with stellar-decorated centre, ringed winding holes, vacant securing hole for signature plaque, Apollo mask-and-foliate spandrels, strike/silent ring in the arch flanked by dolphin spandrels, the five pillar movement with rack strike and anchor escapement
