Engraved title border (some browning and staining). 17th-century red goatskin, tooled in gilt with a double lozenge design, each tooled with floral volutes, outer border of semi-circles and various floral tools, spine in 7 compartments gilt, gilt edges (light wear to spine ends and joints). Provenance: J. Tymhett (name on verso of front free endpaper); Mary Drake (name on preliminary blank).
