Lot Essay

With an elaborate border forming the shape of scalloped shells, the following designs depict Black Bass and Red Snapper. While both bear decorations comprising the upper portion of the plate only, the former appears in a dramatic rendering with the bud of a pond-lily free-falling below, while the latter shows the large fish streaming along the waters.
