A George III teapot
of part-panelled tapering rounded oblong form, on ball feet and with a rising curved spout, wood bracket handle and domed hinged cover with fluted oblong ivory finial, the base applied with an egg and dart frieze, the upper part of the body with a rope-twist frieze, the sides with rounded oblong cartouches, one engraved with monogram, Duncan Urquahart & Naptali Hart, London 1809 - 6¾in. (17.75cm.), 20.25oz. gross.
