A ZUNI COTTONWOOD KACHINA DOLL
representing, Wakas, the Cow Kachina, with small feet and slightly bent legs, articulated arms sharply bent at the elbows, and a bow suspended from the left wrist, wearing leather boots, long muslin kilt with "brocaded" sash, red and green wool yarn woven and wrapped at the waist, and a fir ruff bound with cotton twine on the neck, surmounted by a case mask featuring a protruding snout and painted cloth pop eyes, with ears and curving horns inset at the sides, and a panel of horse hair bound with cotton twine and chicken feathers at top, small tag affixed, inscribed 10 - 20, Zuni MC; metal stand
