of tapering form, with ivory, black, orange, green, purple, yellow, and red-dyed porcupine quills, decorated on the front with the head of a buffalo set against fine lines, enclosed within a narrow beaded band of small squares in yellow and two shades of blue beads, and trimmed with quill-wrapped tassels and red-dyed chicken feathers, the reverse with linear design of tapering devices, a panel of quill-wrapped slats suspended below terminating in metal cones inserted with red-dyed chicken feathers, quill-wrapped handle at top with banded design
