of cylindrical form, woven of bear grass and maiden hair fern, with half-twist overlay design of "flying birds," each end overlaid with a soft hide panel, two narrow wood sticks extended at top, old tag enclosed, inscribed Frazer River, Brit. Col., Game Bag, Twined, Flying Birds, 95 and John R. Metcalf
