Onslow pattern, the bowls with later fluting, marked on the back, contained in a fitted cloth covered case, the cover printed with gold and silver trailing foliage, with two cards, the first a postcard depicting the changing of the guard at Whitehall, inscribed in Queen Mary's hand 'William from Grannie Mary Xmas 1950', the second inscribed in an unknown hand on one side 'Pair of Unusual Silver Sauce Ladles Date 1750-1760' and 'For William From Grannie Mary'
