Hand-coloured lithographed title and folding frontispiece, collation as in Schwerdt, loc. cit. (Occasional light browning.) Contemporary grained black roan, sides and flat spine ruled in gilt (rubbed), in a blue cloth folding box. Provenance: C.F.G.R. Schwerdt (without bookplate or with the bookplate pasted over by the Duke of Gloucester's; his sale, 15 July 1946, lot 2543). Schwerdt IV, p.57.

Half-title, hand-coloured etched title-vignette and 6 hand-coloured plates after H.K. Browne, 2 leaves of engraved music. (Light staining and offsetting.) Polished calf gilt by Riviere, green label on spine, top edges gilt, gilt turn-ins, original wrappers preserved (upper cover slightly marked). Provenance: C.F.G.R.
