8 parts in 1 volume, 4° (243 x 160mm). 40 hand-coloured aquatints. (A few imprints and plate numbers shaved.) Red crushed morocco by L. Broca, covers and turn-ins richly gilt with rules and floral ornaments, spine gilt-lettered and with flower tool in each compartment, edges gilt, blue coated endpapers (wrapper re-margined).
FIRST EDITION, RARE, issued in eight parts, and preserving the original wrapper, dated 1816. Some sets were later issued all together with a general title dated 1817. Tooley 437 (1817 issue).
