Original vellum gilt, upper covers with illustration of 2 penguins stamped in gilt, spines lettered in gilt, The Antarctic Book in original vellum-backed paper boards, top edges gilt, others uncut, silk ties (some very light staining and scuffing to boards). Provenance: Repton School Library, Griffiths Bequest (bookplate) -- "Confined to the Librarian's Room" (pencil inscription on front pastedowns).
