an English wax over papier mâché-headed doll with dark brown eyes wired from the side, brown wool wig, cloth body with waxed limbs, contemporary matching cream silk waistcoat, coat with decorated pockets and wide-brimmed hat, pink silk bloomers, bronze kid slippers and muslin blouse with "fake" sleeves - 22½in. 57cm. high, English mid 19th century, the shoes with shop label reading E.C. Spurin, Successor to Thos Edlin. Juvenile Repository, 37, New Bond Street; a wicker cradle with original blue and brown chintz hood and hangings - 24in. 61cm. long; a canework basket containing a blue and white transfer printed Staffordshire washing set and initialed towels; a pale pink satin bonnet decorated with artificial flowers, braid and ribbons; another of wired and ruched pale blue silk; another of blue and cream woven straw; and other items(a lot)

Previously in the collection of Mrs. Mary Hillier and reputedly exhibited at the International Exhibition at Hyde Park in 1851.
