The pale lilac field with scrolling acanthus leaves and flower-filled cornucopiae around an ivory central cartouche panel filled with delicate scrolling arabesques, the broad linked chocolate-brown spandrels filled with scrolling acanthus vine terminating with floral bouquets, a pale apricot cartouche panel at each end, in a gadrooned border and plain chocolate-brown outer stripe, several minute spots of wear and minor repiling, repaired fireplace cut on one side, localised spot surface stains, overall good condition
