AN ASSEMBLED ORMOLU-MOUNTED PUCE-SCALE GARNITURE OF A CLOCK AND A PAIR OF CANDLESTICKS,
LATE 19TH CENTURY,
in the Meissen style, the arched rectangular clock painted after Watteau with an amorous couple beneath the clock face, the top and sides with flowers, each panel edged with a puce-scale band; the pair of associated candlesticks similarly painted with figures in landscapes reserved within gilt rocaille cartouches (3)
