Lot Essay

Maria Theresa, daughter of Ferdinand I was born in Naples in 1772 and died in Vienna in 1807
This fan appears to be an adaptation of S. 289 S.F. 132; Engelmann 574 with the initials of King Frederick William II of Prussia changed and the figure of Maria Theresa Charlotte replacing the figure holding a sceptre and an eye.
