With gadroon, scroll and foliate border, on three stump feet, engraved with ribbon-tied swags, urns within wreaths and pendant oval motifs around a central inscription to Colonel W.D.Rees V.D from the officers of the 6th (Glamorgan) Battalion, The Welsh Regiment on his retirement from command in Feb. 1911
