A PAINTED AND GILT IVORY MODEL OF AN ELEPHANT, INDIA, 19TH CENTURY
carved with two nobles seated in a howdah, a mahout seated behind the elephants head, the saddle cloth decorated with floral patterns -- 5½in. (14cm.) high.
