Tasting note: Medium deep yellow-golden, with complex nose as expected with Bollinger Champagnes. This shows bottle-aged maturity, consistent with the age of the wine and the shipper. Some nuttiness, spice and mushroom aromas are present. The palate is medium full, still fresh with the natural acidity of 1988 vintage, good length. A wine to serve with canapes or during a meal, rather than on its own, I would recommend. A.H. December 2005
Tasting note: medium-pale straw colour. Typical R.D. character on nose, old straw. Medium-dry on palate, fairly full bodied and full of flavour. Good acidity. M.B. December 2005
