The dark blue-ground urn-shaped body, reserved with a heavily gilt scrolled cartouche, decorated in dreamy colours, both signed by Wirot, the reverse with dreamy landscapes, one with a mythological scene with putti and maiden allegorical for the Zephyr or Wind and the other with a couple of young gallants and putti beside the inscription: SERMENT AIMER TOUTE SA VIE (oath to love all life long), flanked by mounted winged Karyatid handles supporting a mounted à rinceaux balustrade, the mounted domed pedestal base en suite, the waisted domed cover en suite with mounted pinecone finial
