With a broken arched pediment with later arched mirror plates below within bevelled marginal borders, enclosing a later fitted interior with a shelf and a removable compartment with pigeon-holes, drawers and enclosed cupboard, two candle-slides below, the feather-strung lower part in two sections, the sloping fall with a stay and enclosing a later undulating fitted interior with two short and three long drawers below, on later bracket-feet, one interior drawer written in ink on one side indistinctly 'Mr. WHITROD, Horseheath Lodge, nr. Linton, Cambs', written in chalk on the reverse in three places 'S1237' and '62', later handles, the cabinet interior incorporating earlier elements
