The hood with gilt blind fret to the cornice and glazed side panels, arched trunk door with Chinoiserie scenes, conforming raised octagonal panel to the plinth, the 11 in. square brass dial with mask and foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with sword-hilt half hour markers and signed Jos Jackman Jun London Bridge, matted centre with subsisiary seconds ring and ringed winding holes, foliate scroll engraving around the date aperture, the latter applied arch with silvered convex disc, the associated four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell; composite, case redecorated, part 18th Century and adapted, dial circa 1720 and adapted, movement 19th Century; pendulum, two weights
