A Japanese ivory okimono of a nobleman and fan, incised signature to base, 19th Century
the figure carved with a samurai helmet to his feet and a tanto sword tucked into his tied waist band, he holds his left arm up to his face protecting himself from the wind that blows his long robes behind him - 6½in. (16.5cm) high.
