The large leaf with upright sides, with a leaf of grass draped across the rims and with a bird with outstretched wings spanning the spout, carved on one side with another lotus leaf receptacle and on the other side with a pod, blossom and a third leaf, all borne on ribbon-tied stems that form a handle at one end and the openwork base
