Of rounded form, the bowl of burnt orange tone painted in dark brown with a wide band around the mouth

Lot Essay

See a similar bowl also painted with a broad black band around the rim, excavated in Baoziping, Zhuanglang County, Gansu Province, and illustrated in Treasures from a Swallow Garden: Inaugural Exhibit of the Arthur M.
