A GEORGE II SILVER KETTLE ON STAND,
MARK OF JOHN HUGH LE SAGE, LONDON, 1739,
Bullet-shaped, with scalloped, leaf-capped spout, leather-bound scroll swing handle, chased with rococo panels of flowers above an engraved armorial shield, the stand with aprons of ribbon-tied flowers, on three shell & scroll supports, complete with spirit lamp, 12½ in. (32 cm.), 56 oz.
