MARK OF EDWARD ALDRIDGE, LONDON, 1764,
Shaped oval, the sides pierced with "V"-shaped panels of fretwork edged with punched beading, the swing handle pierced with quatrefoils, centre engraved with neo-classical armorial within a wreath, on openwork scroll & architectural feet, 14½ in.long (37 cm.), 36.25 oz.
