A GEORGE II MAHOGANY BUREAU-CABINET

The stepped dentilled rectangular cornice above a central door, enclosing two adjustable shelves, flanked by two doors, enclosing five adjustable short shelves, on a plain moulded plinth, the bureau section with a slope, enclosing a fitted interior with twenty-four mahogany-lined drawers with ebony cockbeading, above two panelled frieze-drawers, above two doors enclosing two sliding trays, on a plinth base, the handles on the exterior drawers replaced, the panels on the reverse of the upper doors possibly replaced, the side doors with later glass
