AN ATTIC MARBLE GRAVE STELE ANTHEMION FINIAL
MID 4TH CENTURY B.C.
Carved in the form of an elaborate palmette with stems in the form of spiral tendrils rising from acanthus leaves, with a small rosette at the top between the converging fronds, originally surmounting a grave stele, holes at the back for attachment to shaft
