Lithographed frontispiece and 2 hand-coloured plates of flags and signals, 3 leaves of advertisements at end (half title, frontispiece, title and a few other leaves foxed). Original cloth with paper label on spine (rubbed). Provenance: Philip Smith (contemporary signature on front free endpaper). The annual consists of an autobiography in 155 pages by a convict under sentence of death for his part in the piratical seizing of the brig 'Frederick' at Macquairie Harbour in Tasmania. And Charles Abel's Savage Life in New Guinea (London, n.d.). (3)
