AN ATTRACTIVE SELECTION OF BAROLO FROM PAOLO SCAVINO Enrico Scavino is the driving force behind this great Piedmont wine estate, and has been producing some of the finest modern Barolo's. Some of the innovations introduced include high fermentation temperatures; short maceration and finishing in a mixture of French oak barriques and the larger traditional 'Botte'. The Scavino estate has holdings in some of Barolos finest Crus; Cannubi, Bric del Fiasc and Rocche dell'Annuziata. Scavino is most famous for his Barolo Cannubi and Barolo Bric del Fiasc which are characterized by their modern style of accessibility, elegance and complexity. Wines include; Barolo, Barolo Bric del Fiasc, Barolo Cannubi, Barolo Carobric, Barolo Rocche dell 'Annunziata, Barbera d'Alba Affinata in Carati, Dolcetto d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, Langhe Rosso Corale and Rosso da Tavola.
