MARKED WITH UNRECORDED GEORGIAN WORKMASTER INITIALS, TIFLIS, CIRCA 1890
Of traditional shape, the reverse of the bowl with scrolling floral and foliate niello design on stippled ground, one side of the handle with similar design, the other with a niello design of a snake eating a bird, with stylized engraved finial, marked on handle; together with a silver soup ladle, the reeded handle with engraved entwined initials surmounted by a princely crown, with gilt interior, marked on handle with the mark of Nicholls and Plinke, St. Petersburg, circa 1896
