In-12 (141 x 92 mm). Demi-chagrin rouge de l'époque à coins, dos à nerfs orné de fers dorés, tête dorée (quelques petites taches).
Ces aquarelles, parmi lesquelles de nombreuses à caractère humoristique, ont probablement été réalisées par un artiste français.

Series of 16 humorous erotic watercolours by an anonymous late-19th-century French artist. They are well executed on thick board, some heightened in gold or silver. The title has been taken from the spine of the contemporary half-binding.
