Lot Essay

According to the archives of the Omega Museum, the present watch was delivered to Venezuela on 26 August 1952. The entry does not mention the colour of the dial.

The celebrated Cosmic model, originally introduced into the market in 1947, was Omega's first watch featuring a full calendar combined with phases of the moon. It was mainly available with 14K or 18K yellow or pink gold cases and fitted with various dial versions.

The new edition of the model, featuring a black dial, was launched in 2002 as part of the "Omega Museum Collection".
