A RARE AUGSBURG SILVER-GILT-MOUNTED CHINESE IMARI PORCELAIN EQUELLE, COVER AND STAND
THE PORCELAIN KANGXI (1662-1722), THE MOUNTS WITH MARK OF ELIAS ADAM, AUGSBURG, 1717
Applied with two "C"-scroll dragon handles, enamelled in iron red and gilt with chrysanthemum sprays on one side and peony on the other, the shallow domed cover with a bud finial and similarly decorated, the circular stand with a central chrysanthemum shaped roundel surrounded by further sprays
