MARK OF I. & T. SETTLE, SHEFFIELD, 1814
The bases fluted circular and with a gadrooned band, with a tapering stem and campana shaped socket, with detachable nozzle, each engraved with a crest, filled, the filling on one defective, marked on feet and on nozzle
9 3/8 in. (23.8 cm.) high
The crest is that of Musgrave, possibly for Richard Musgrave, later 3rd Bt. of Tourin (1790-1859), who married Frances, daughter of Dr. William Newcombe, Archbishop of Armagh, in 1815. Richard Musgrave succeeded to baronetcy on the death of his father in 1826. (2)
