CIRCA 1760
Oblong with waisted sides, enamelled with vignettes within gilt scroll borders, the gilt metal rim with wavy lines, with a typed note 'A London enamel snuff-box of circa 1760 with painted vignettes and gold 'honeysuckle' decoration'

Displayed in a cabinet on the piano in the Drawing Room of the Private Apartment of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon at Kensington Palace.
