Irving Kay, founder of Kay Homes, was a prominent and successful San Francisco Bay Area homebuilder and commercial real estate investor, active in the 1950s and 1960s. His impressive art collection of mainly Impressionist, Modern and Latin American Art, was acquired during the 1960s on trips to New York and Paris with his wife Ida.
