As the earliest of the major cricket dealers, Gaston disposed of the libraries of both Thomas Padwick and Alfred Taylor. Allen Catalogue of Cricket Catalogues 22: "One suspects that this was the bulk of the Taylor collection rather than the remainder. Magnificent range of books"; Padwick 19-2.
