Pre-tour penny booklet. England won 2 Tests, 3 were draws. The England captain, Hon. F.S. Jackson achieved the remarkable feat of toppping both bowling and batting averages, ably supported with the bat by Fry, MacLaren, Tyldesley and Hayward. For the Australians, however, Trumper, Hill and Noble did not strike batting form, and the bowling attack was weaker than previously, though Cotter at times bowled "very fast". Padwick 5004.
