Provenance
A framed note accompanying this model and which was removed from under the hatch reads: This Model, built at Chatham Dockyard, was given to my Eldest Brother (born 1803) when a child, by our Grandfather, Lord Manoerz. It is recorded that on being tried in the Medway, she sailed so fast that a Boat with a pair of oars could not keep up with her.
