MARK OF GORHAM MFG. CO., PROVIDENCE, CIRCA 1861, RETAILED BY J. W. TUCKER & CO., SAN FRANCISCO
Comprising a hot water urn, covered sugar bowl and waste bowl, each chased with flowers surrounding oval cartouches, the urn with satyr masks with ring handles, the spout with ivory insulator, engraved B. F. Washington, the urn with presentation inscription PRESENTED TO Hon. B. F. Washington. By the attaches of the COLLECTOR'S OFFICE San Francisco Cal APRIL 29, 1861, marked under base, also marked coin, the urn apparently unmarked; together with a silver-plated two-handled tea tray, also engraved B. F. Washington
